CA still calling after signing for Debt Services
Date: Thu, 03/02/2006 - 13:13
i just signed up for their service. Anyone else use them, have any stories about them etc? Im bout 27,000 dollars in debt. I did a three year thing with them.
Today i fount out 1 collections agency is calling my mothers house everyday. So i got his number called him up, told him to contact Superior D.S. and all while im trying to tell him their info he's rudely saying how since they arnt Non profit they wont work with them ever. Saying how they wont pay .10 on the dollar or something. I've never had late bills or had to talk to a collector. Is this the infamous way they harrass/scare people into paying? or will they never really work with Superior D.S. After giving him the phone number and asking if he needed any other info, he kept on like a broken record so i had to just hang up in his face.

Snookaydcc,
This is a BBB member company and holding satisfactory record with Better Business Bureau. I'm sure they will handle all your queries with care; your credit is in good hands.
As per the collection call is concerned, I think you should consult it with your counselor as well. These are collection tactics, you know. I think your consolidation company will resolve the issue, so there is nothing to worry.
However, you can send cease comm. letter to this collection agency. Write them to contact your counselor in future for the said account. Hope this will work.
