I have debts from utilities, Cable Company, a cell phone, a truck payment, various credit cards, and some of them went to collection agencies. I am starting a new job soon and will be in a position to make some payments. Should I make payments as soon as I can or should I consolidate to satisfy everone?

I'm trying to pay off a debt to fingerhut but I don't have the Account number for fingerhut and ALL my credit reports have "x's" in place of the last 4 digits. Can someone help me? :oops:

Many people are against Debt Settlement/Consolidation because they say that you could do it yourself for free. But how could one consolidate loans and credit cards into one account. Foe e.g., should I ask the credit card companies to cooperate with others so that they all together could accept one consolidated account? :?:

I have a lot of credit card debt and some personal loans. I have talked to one debt consolidation Company. They quoted me a payment of 1619.00 a month. I guess based on my credit cards. If I agree to pay this I will not have any money left. Are all debt management programs the same? I guess what I am asking, can I try to find another one or based on my credit cards is this what I will have to pay to anyone?

Read some on the topic but am curious on to what extent you will guide me, am in debt of 15k and skipped payment sine the last 7 months. I have a meager income, am desperate and need your help. didn't even want to think of the interest rates. thank you

I dreamed of a world without debts, no bankruptcy , no poverty, no money and where no one owns but owes none .....and I knew the answer lies in eternity and I continue to wonder ....wondered what will happen to me and this country in the next 20 years :?: any suggestion on what I should do ?
