needing money

20 years 8 months ago
My name is Mike and I have 1 loan but I need more money for summer semester, rent, other living expeses. The thing is my college allows so much money which is fine but I drive 1 hour 15 mins a day to school and my vehicle didn't make it so I had to get another used vehicle then gas along with classes and books rent and other bills I'm out of money. I keep getting turned down for student loans due to I've used up my allowed money. Are they any other options or am I out of luck.

Atlanta-based Choicepoint clearinghouse declared that some amount of the personal data was exposed. I also heard that few of my Californian friends got mail telling them that the important information in question may have belonged to them. Shocked but it is true. Nothing is safe :D :D until you are not with Mr Tintin and snowy.

Debt Negotiation

20 years 8 months ago
My concern is, I have just recently agreed to join a debt negotiation program and I am scraed to death! I have aways taken pride in paying my bills on times but after having gone through a divorce. I have found myself in a surmountable amount of debt. My question is, Is there anyone out there that can tell me if joining a debt negotiation program has been benefial to them. What are the pros and cons of this program? Can the creditors take the money owed from your banking account?

Will New Bankruptcy Law make it more difficult for people in debt to make deals with their creditors?

20 years 8 months ago
Will this new law, The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005, that congress is about to pass make it more difficult for people in debt to make deals with their creditors? If people are unable to file for bankruptcy, it seems that the credit card companies would be less willing to work out a compromise. Any thoughts? Thanks, Jeff
