Someone contacted me via phone from your site after I registered. They were very helpful and told me they would email me regarding options for my financial situation. They never did. I would very much like to speak to someone again. Please advise. Thank you.

I just want to pay my debts. where do i start?

20 years 7 months ago
i was a stupid kid going into college and got myself in way over my head. anyway, i made a lot of mistakes and almost ended up homeless in the end. have a quite a few creditors but don't really know who they are anymore. i bounced around a lot trying to keep a roof over my head and didn't really have a permanent address. i got one collection letter but i want to try to consolidate my debt into one payment. i've learned from my mistakes. i'm in the army now and doing fine, i just want to pay my debts. anyway, i don't even know all the people that i owe.

Need advice!

A collection agency from another state called me out of the blue yesterday demanding payment for an 11 year old hospital debt. ( $1000.00). I didn't even know this debt had gone to collections as I haven't heard anything about it.... ever,( it's not on my credit report) until now. I do believe that I owe the hospital this money so I will not try to weasel out of it. I simply asked the woman from the collection agency to send me a letter in writing with thier name, address and amount of payment due. She refused stating that they already sent me a letter nine years ago in 1996.

Isn't there some type of limitation on an unpaid lease in florida?

20 years 7 months ago
In September of 1992, my partner and I created a corporation (O'Neil's pub Inc). It was used to open a restaurant. After opening the restaurant, I personally signed a lease in order to have a credit card terminal placed in the business. After one year on business, we decided to sell the business. My partner being an attorney took care of finding a new owner. He had told me he was going to have the lease transferred to the new owner. I never received any money from the sale and found out 2 years later that the lease went into default and that it had never been transferred.

What are the various repayment plan?

20 years 7 months ago
I keep getting e-mails from companies that want to give you free money in your account next day..."100% no hassle" well, I was wondering is this a wise idea to go with... they're giving me 500 to 1000 dollars to help pay bills or for emergencies. What is usually the repayment plan for these institutions? and if they are even real... i don't know.
