Ealier today I sopke with a company who does debt resolution. This is done my stopping any payment on my credit cards and putting the money into a bank account and by them calling your credit card companies and negotiating your principal and finance rate. They can cut the principal in half and lower the rate. when there is enough money in our bank a count and we have agreed with the credit card company on the amount to pay it is taken out of our bank account.

I have several credit cards with a balance of around $17000.00 I'm disabled drawing social security, but my wife makes pretty good money, can the credit card companies come after her on collections if, I can't afford to make payments any longer?

Hi, this is my first post and I am very glad that I discovered this wonderful site before I made a decision on my debt. I have hospital Bills and credit catd bills around $5,200. I can't afford the hospital's "Lowest Monthly Payments" and these are going to collections. I am also late on my Credit Card payments (2 Months). I called a company Called "Debt Options"...they reccomended debt consolidation.

Dear Sirs, I am overwhelmed. I had to close my business (sole propr.) after 6 years, and have accumulated $150,000 in debt with 12 different credit cards and two credit lnes from 2 different banks. I now am unemployed, looking for a job, and living with my sister. All I have is a car, which I owe half of it. I am considering leaving the country, will they go after me? I don't have a house or property. Please help me!

Ive gotten into a habit of using this service when I need quick money. I have realized that my inadequacy of sticking to a budget has spawned this habit. How do I get out of using them and still pay rent on time, eat and drive to work? Any advice? :roll:
