Hi I hope someone can help me. I have a judgement placed on my personal credit file. I run my own printing business and we had a client that did not get his job on time but he got it. A judgement was placed but we never got notice of the court appearance. Can I remove this judgement of my credit file and how. We have an s corp type of corporation. can I motion to vacate or do I need a lawyer. THe company is no longer in business and its been closed for two years now. I need help,

Hi, I am trying to settle a small amount with the collection agency and I specifically asked for the record to be deleted from my Credit Report. The Collection Agency told me that they can only report the amount as "Paid in Full" and that they can't actually have the Credit Bureaus delete the record. Is this true?? I see postings where we can send a letter and have the agency delete the report. I'm new to this whole thing and it just seems so overwhelming and confusing. It seems every rule has an exception. Your advice/help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, Does anyone know if asset acceptance llc has the right to pursue collections from someone who lives outside the U.S?? I'm Canadian and I've received a credit letter from this company regarding money I supposedly owe for a gym membership I had in 1998 with Bally Total Fitness in Canada. Unless I've suffered from a case of amnesia for the past 7 years, I never signed a contract.

Alright... I'm having a difficult time here. As soon as I was 18, I got a credit card. Two to be exact. I had a job... then lost it. Of course, without having a job, its difficult to make payments. It's been a while, 2 years since I was out of high school. I've been in college ever since. I recently got a job, but my hours were cut to only 1-2 a week. I am asking a lot of questions with this debt consolidation company that I have just signed with and I wanted to ask a question here and see what you guys think. I explained to the lady that I use my AMEX card to put a couple of utility bills on and that way I can get them paid when they are due and then at the end of the month just pay the card. This is the only use I have for this card as I can't carry a balance on it and it's paid in full every month.
